Our Founding Story
Our story began in 2015, when serial medtech entrepreneur Fred Khosravi and cofounded Imperative Care with the late L. Nelson (Nick) Hopkins, M.D. F.A.C.S., a pioneering leader in endovascular neurosurgery. After decades of successful partnership, Nick and Fred recognized the clear need for a company to focus on elevating every phase of care across the entire patient journey, and making this care accessible to more people. They founded Imperative Care with a singular focus on stroke, which has since expanded to include other devastating vascular diseases.
